Aktion Club

Downey Los Amigos Kiwanis is a proud sponsor and auxiliary partner of Aktion Club, the nation's only service club exclusively for people with developmental or intellectual disabilities.

Community Service

Aktion Club members participate in community service projects year-round, including street clean-ups and tree plantings.

The club sells candy as a form of fundraising, and uses the proceeds to purchase gifts at Christmas, Mothers Day and Fathers Day for residents of local convalescent homes.

Aktion Club of Downey meets the second Wednesday of every month at The Arc - Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
